🛒 Ingredients

1 lb flank or skirt steak, sliced thin against the grain
4 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cooked white rice
Sauce: 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp cornstarch, ½ cup water
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Sesame seeds and green onion to garnish

📋 Instructions

Freeze steak 20 minutes before cutting — partially frozen = much easier to slice thin.

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

Heat wok or large skillet over HIGH heat until smoking. This is non-negotiable.

Cook beef in single layer 60-90 seconds per side. Remove. It will finish in the sauce.

Add broccoli to same pan. Stir-fry 3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

Add garlic and ginger, 30 seconds. Add sauce and beef back in.

Toss everything 2 minutes as sauce thickens. Serve immediately over rice.
